Our NANOCAV technology offers diverse applications, including efficient de-aeration of viscous fluids and the creation of stable emulsions. In anaerobic wastewater treatment, it aids in breaking down pollutants and organic molecules while increasing biogas production. Catalyst cleaning is an area yet to be fully explored.

NANOCAV, utilizing NanO-Cavitation Technology, is a process intensification technique for the manufacturing industry. Its flow reactor design is a unique innovation in process engineering, enabling cost-effective and highly adjustable continuous-flow nanO-Cavitation processes for both physical and chemical reactions in liquid environments.

Process Operation

The concept evolved from a conventional single-channel flow reactor used in emulsification processors or cavitation cell disruptors. It achieves a balanced exposure to the entire reaction medium, creating a cavitating effect and releasing local energy spurts in the liquid mass. This, in turn, increases the reaction rate based on the reaction kinetics.

The system pumps the reaction mixture into a lower holding chamber, where it receives even exposure to high-energy nanO-Cavitation through multiple parallel channels. The processed reactants then flow upward to the upper holding chamber through the outlet nozzle. This entire operation can be conducted in a gas-tight sealed environment.

A variac control is provided to vary amplitude/power from 40% to 100%

Cavitation Horn:

S.S. horn fitted with Piezo electric crystals.

The cavitation horn is mounted on a vertical stand with the flatbed at the bottom. A separate mechanism is mounted on a flatbed to move the vessel base up/down.

Cavitation generator:

Solid-state design with auto-tuning.

It has one module delivering 120 watts of ultrasonic power.

The cavitation generator is housed in a separate powder coated cabinet. Since the transducer and horn are precisely synchronised with the Piezo element, there is very little noise hence no noise-proof enclosure is required.
